Brian currently lives in Elkhorn, WI and is from Green Bay, WI.  Brian graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1979 and continued on as a music major - education at UW-Green Bay focusing on jazz studies on clarinet and saxophones. In 1980 Brian successfully auditioned for the United States Army Band program and continued his training at the United States Army Element School of Music in Norfolk, VA. Upon graduation he was stationed at the 283rd Army Band at Ft. Benning, Georgia. At Ft. Benning Brian had the opportunity to play for many diverse types of functions and ceremonies. Performing in jazz & rock combo's, stage bands, marching bands, and concert bands. Also, these various groups had opportunities to tour the southeastern United States promoting and playing for schools and public audience venues.

Brian left the Army in 1983 and moved to the Milwaukee area and quickly picked up performing in the Milwaukee club and music scene. He played with many groups as a guest performer and continued to make himself available as a clinician / educator for jazz camps & fests at area schools. In 1986 he formed a night club group called "Night Tyme" and continued to perform in the Midwest for hotel lounges, private parties, county & state fairs. In 1993, while taking a whole year off from performing, he made technological upgrades in his home studio to the digital format, and began producing and writing his background music tracks and show, working diligently on arrangements and diversity in his "Smooth Sax" arrangements & selections.

Brian continues to cover the styles of many current and popular artists from the smooth jazz world such as; Grover Washington, David Sanborn, Kenny G, Steve Cole, Gerald Albright, Dave Koz, and Tom Scott along with many more!
